Figural Marble & Bronze Mantle Clock w/ Philosopher. Beautiful white marble case with fluted curved front and sides, fluted plinth on top, gilt bronze mounts, feet and scroll w/ book and leafy branch on the plinth, bronze figure of a man is seated leaning against the plinth with a pencil in one hand and a tablet with scroll in the other; has a dark brown patina. 4 in. porcelain dial with fancy pierced hands; typical round brass spring driven movement signed with initials ÂA.D.Â, has an half hour strike on a bell. In good condition, running, marble is in good overall condition, has very light chips in the dial. 19 in. high x 22 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep.

Figural Marble & Bronze French Mantle Clock. Has a white marble base with gilt bronze mounts & feet, pr. of figural winged maiden sphinxes sit opposite facing on raised plinths and hold the timepiece up between their wings, a figural nude maiden is seated on top leaning back and viewing herself in a hand mirror. 4.5 in. porcelain dial with black hour numbers, fancy gilt pierced hands and hinged door bezel with beveled convex glass; bras 8 day spring driven French movement signed ÂVincenti & CieÂ, has an half hour strike on a bell and a brass pendulum bob with maidenÂs head mount on the front. Bell is replaced, rear door is broken, marble has some edge chips, front mounted plaque is missing 2 ends and the dial has hairlines and a few chips around the edge. 16 in. high x 12.5 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.

French Marble & Bronze Mantle Clock. Black marble case with dore bronze urn top having twisted side handles and repousse faces on the front and back, has figural winged griffin side mounts and stands on griffinÂs heads with talon feet. 4 in. marble dial has applied brass Roman hour numerals and gilt hands; typical round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂJapy FreresÂ, has a half hour strike on a bell. Movement and bronze urn have a hallmark with initials ÂG.S. on either side of a bee under a star. In good overall condition, case has a few minor chips to the corners and missing back-plate behind the movement with a replaced fabricated ring. 14.5 in. high x 14.5 in. wide x 8 in. deep.

Marble & Bronze Mantle Clock. Figural bronze top having a dark brown patina, a woman seated on a gothic style bench, she wears long heavy garments with a feathered hat, seated in a relaxed pose with her head facing down to her lap looking at a the portrait in a locket held in her left hand, beside her is a whippet and a floral urn with gilt finish; the white marble base has gilt bronze corner mounts, bezel, trim and feet with a beveled crystal over the dial. 3.5 in. porcelain dial signed ÂGrout, R. DE La Feronnerie SÂ, has blue Roman hour numerals and fancy pierced gilt hands; 8 day round brass spring driven movement with silk thread suspension, count wheel half hour strike on a bell. Rear door glass has a hairline, clock has the wrong pendulum and is missing the mounting screw which holds the bell; case is in good condition with no breaks or losses to the marble or bronze, has a beautiful & clean finish. 20.25 in. high x 11 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

In beautiful condition, no breaks or losses, unsigned, very high quality casting. 29 in. high x 24.5 in. wide x 11 in. deep.
