Mahogany triple Decker Mantle Clock. Painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals, floral spandrels and open center, black spade hands (replaced); attr: Ives 8 day, spring driven, rolling pinion, strap-plate movement, has count wheel strike mechanism, coiled gong, brass covered pendulum bob & iron weights. Mahogany case with large half columns over serpentine corbels, reverse painted tablet with New York Crystal Palace, has some paint loss and reverse painted lower door glass with floral design; paper label in the back of the case for Birge, Peck & Co. Bristol, Conn. 32.5 in. high x 16.5 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.
