Mahogany & Ormolu Swinging Portico Clock. True gridiron pendulum has a temperature indication on the front, hangs and swings from a knife edge suspension at the top of the case, gilt bronze pendulum bob decorated with figural dolphins and filigree bezel around the 3.5 in. dial with black painted Roman hour numerals and blued open moon hands, the pendulums pointer swings within a mounted bronze well with beat indicator painted on the front and pin in the rear which engages the crutch of the movement. Has an half hour strike on a steel bell, movement is signed Bechot and the dial is signed Gittion a Paris. Mahogany portico style case with turned tapered columns and bronze ormolu mounts & capitols. In good condition, original finish. 22 in. high x 13 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.

19th century French clock with ebonized wood case, ornate gilt bronze mounts, time and strike mechanism. Working. Has pendulum, no key. Measures 10 1/2″ long x 5 3/4″ wide x 20″ tall. A fair amount of damage to finish. Total shipping weight is 9 lbs.
