Mahogany Inlaid Grandfather Clock. Brass dial has a 12 in. silvered chapter ring with black incised Roman hour numerals and 5 minute numbers outside, brass sub seconds dial pierced filigree with cherubs heads on the corner spandrels, dolphins on the arch and sub dial for Silent/Chime; has original pierced hands and signed on a silvered tag Lloyd Payne Amiel, Manchester. Brass 8 day weight driven movement has a recoil escapement, rack strike on a coiled gong, quality brass pulleys, missing the 2 weights and has a steel pendulum rod with brass bob. In a Sheraton style inlaid mahogany case with broken arched crest on the bonnet, turned brass center finial, chamfered corners and pierced carved side panels; the body of the case has an urn and filigree inlaid design with griffins head on the door and fancy inlaid design in the base. In good condition, has an age crack in the base and a polished original finish. 90 in. high x 20 in. wide x 14 in. deep.

Brass dial has a 12 in. silvered chapter ring with applied brass hour numbers, silvered sub seconds dial, levers for Chime/Silent & Strike/Silent, etched gilt and pierced brass filigree decorated center and corner spandrels with moon phase dial at the top, brass weight driven movement has Graham deadbeat escapement, retaining power, 3 brass pulleys, brass covered weights and brass covered pendulum, bob with steel stick, movement signed “Elite” and numbered “83416”. In a mahogany case with pyramidal top having fern & scroll carved crest and corner mounts, medallion and filigree carved frieze, double corner columns on the bonnet; the body has smooth turned corner columns with carved capitols, beveled glass on the oval door panel, carved base panel and claw feet. Nice original finish. 99 in. high x 28 in. wide x 18 in. deep.

Hershchede Pattern 50 Mahogany 9 Tube Grandfather Clock. 12 in. silvered dial signed “The Frank Herschede Co., Cincinnati” with applied brass hour numbers, silvered sub seconds dial, moon phase with silvered arch, sub dials for Chime/Silent & Westminster/Whittington chimes, brass back plate with fancy pierced gilt brass filigree decorated center and corner spandrels and pierced hands; brass weight driven movement marked “Germany” has Graham deadbeat escapement, retaining power, quality brass weights, pulleys and pendulum bob with steel pendulum stick and has 9 silvered tubes signed “Herschede Hall Clock, Cincinnati, O, Crown Symphony Tube”. In a beautiful carved mahogany case with arched bonnet top, medallion crest, carved filigree on the frieze, pierced carved side panels and turned columns on the corners with carved capitols; the body has a long beveled glass door with turned columns having carved capitols, inset carved panel in the base with turned corner columns and stands on carved claw feet. In very good condition, case has an excellent original finish. 88.5 in. high x 27 in. wide x 18 in. deep.

Howard & Co., Boston”, with maintaining power, Graham deadbeat escapement, half hour strike on a coiled gong, 2 quality brass pulleys and brass covered weights, long gilt wood pendulum rod and a brass covered bob. In a beautiful mahogany case in original finish with broken arched carved crest, turned finial and turned fluted columns on the bonnet, turned fluted quarter columns on the case body with inset door panel and a raised panel in the base. Pendulum rod is broken. 98 in. high x 21 in. wide x 13 in. deep.

Large 12 in. silvered dial with a brass backplate signed “Elliott, London”, has applied brass hour numbers, engraved center, sub seconds dial, brass filigree corner spandrels and arched moon phase dial at the top; quality brass weight driven movement signed “J.J. Elliot, 5 Percival St., London” and “H&H” for Harris & Harrington, numbered 8154, has a deadbeat escapement, half hour strike on a single tube, brass pulleys, 2 brass covered weights and brass covered pendulum bob with steel pendulum stick. In a mahogany case with broken arched crest having turned finials, filigree and ribbon inlays, turned corner columns on the bonnet, turned quarter columns on the body with beveled glass on the front door and stands on claw feet. Pieter Van Eeden Dutch Inlaid Grandfather Clock. c.18th Century. Brass dial has a 12 in. silvered chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and Arabic 5 minute markers outside, sub seconds dial, calendar aperture, cutout with silvered figure of father time which is animated with the pendulum, silvered ring outside reads Tempus Fugit and signed Pieter Van Eeden, Amsterdam. Brass weight driven movement has an hour strike on an iron bell at the top of the movement, brass pulleys, brass covered weights and pendulum rod with brass covered bob. The walnut case is beautifully inlaid with birds, urns, flowers and filigree with turned columns on the bonnet and turned feet. In very good condition, no missing inlays, has a good old refinish. 93 in. high x 18 in. wide x 9 in. deep.
