Mahogany Dachluhr Biedermeier Vienna Regulator. 7 in. porcelain dial signed “Ernst Ferdinandi in Wein” c. 1830 (died 1845), has black Roman hour numerals, period blued hands and engine turned gilt brass bezel; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement with trapezoidal plates, deadbeat escapement, long gilt metal pendulum stick, 4 spoke brass pulley and a brass covered bob. In a mahogany case with maple stipe inlays, removable front panel with glasses on the front and sides. In good condition with an old French polished finish, upper right glass is broken, pendulum stick is repaired and re-gilded, good overall condition, running. 45 in. high x 11 in. wide x 5 in. deep.
