An early 20th century Colonial hall clock. Winterhalder & Hofmeier 8-day time and strike movement serial #2748 with quarter hour Westminster chimes, brass dial with cast spandrels, silvered chapter ring and Roman numerals. Mahogany case with coffin top over a square upper door above a long waist door and paneled base with flattened bun feet and hand painted detail. Old finish with minor wear, one broken chime rod, movement very dirty, not running when cataloged. 72 1/4" high. ESTIMATE $200-400
