They have a Bronze-like finish. The clock is made in West Germany. Working condition is unknown. The double inkwell set is unmarked. One of its lids is Missing the top. It is the taller piece, at 7 1/2". Both pieces have some surface wear and dust.

Figural Putti Novelty Desk Clock w/ Alarm. Gilt brass figure of a seated putti on a plinth and white marble base, holding the clock drum above his head; has a 2 in. porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals and 5 minute numbers outside, dial signed Le Marais, Paris. Spring driven movement has silvered plated lever escapement, 22 jewels and signed Brevete, France, et Etranger. Seperate alarm indicator hand which strikes on a small bell inside of the case. Movement is running, case is in good condition with a nice clean gilt polished finish. 7 in. high.

Notice that this clock has been labelled with a repurposed “Sarnia” paper. Signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Canada” on the lower quarter of the dial. Intact paper label on interior back door. 19.5″ x 5″ x 10.5″. Mechanism complete with correct pendulum assembly and winding key. Original finish. Minor paint chips between the numbers ’12’ and ‘1’ on the dial.
