Lg. French Figural Mantle Clock. Large spelter figure of a musical putti holding a horn with sheet music under his arm and at his feet, oval portrait plaque on the front of the base and highlighted with floral and filigree garland and ribbons, figure leans beside the clock tower; case has an overall dark brown original finish. 5 in. relief decorated metal dial with applied porcelain Roman hour numeral tabs; typical brass 8 day spring driven French movement signed ÂS. MartiÂ, half hour strike on a bell and is in good condition. Case has some surface tarnish at the joints, some solder repair to the mounts, figure is missing its left thumb and one foot is broken at the base but present. 26 in. high x 24 in. wide x 11 in. deep.

French Figural Marble & Bronze Mantle Clock. Gilt bronze seated figure of a philosopher with a pen and a basket of paper scrolls, black marble clock tower with arched top, black marble base with green marble inset panels on the front and sides with gilt bronze mounts and trim. 4 in. porcelain dial with open moon hands; round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂJapy FreresÂ & ÂRollin a ParisÂ, has a half hour strike on a bell. Black marble has a few breaks and repairs, front feet are broken off but we do have them, no hairlines in the dial. 17 in. high x 21.5 in. wide x 7.5 in. deep.

French Figural Marble & Bronze Mantle Clock. Bronze seated figure of a winged putti holding a large drum hanging from a ribbon, the drum rests on his left hip and in the right hand holds a hammer to beat the drum; has a beautiful gilt finish, on a white marble base with applied leafy filigree decorations and stands on turned feet. The dial and movement are contained in the drum, the porcelain dial measures 3.5 in. dia. with painted hour numbers and fancy gilt pierced hands; has a typical round brass spring driven movement signed Samuel Marti, a half hour count wheel strike mechanism and strikes on a steel bell. 12 in. high x 9 in. wide x 5 in. deep.

Has a white marble base with gilt bronze mounts & feet, pr. of figural winged maiden sphinxes sit opposite facing on raised plinths and hold the timepiece up between their wings, a figural nude maiden is seated on top leaning back and viewing herself in a hand mirror. 4.5 in. porcelain dial with black hour numbers, fancy gilt pierced hands and hinged door bezel with beveled convex glass; bras 8 day spring driven French movement signed ÂVincenti & CieÂ, has an half hour strike on a bell and a brass pendulum bob with maidenÂs head mount on the front. Bell is replaced, rear door is broken, marble has some edge chips, front mounted plaque is missing 2 ends and the dial has hairlines and a few chips around the edge. 16 in. high x 12.5 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.

Dore bronze winged figure of Amour is standing and wrapping garland around a cluster of arrows, on the other side of the case is a large bow and quiver of arrows, center pedestal is mounted with a torch and wreaths, the green serpentine marble case is has dore bronze figural and swirling filigree mounts, standing on large spherical bronze feet. 3.5 in. porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals, fancy brass bezel with convex door glass and gilt lyre hands. Typical, round French, brass movement, by Marti & Co. has a bell strike. Matched with a pair of marble and bronze urns made into lamp bases. Clock is 17.5 in. high x 14 in. wide x 5 in. deep.

Dorant, St. Jean dÂAngleyÂ, round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed S. Marti, has an half hour bell strike. Clock is missing bell and pendulum, female figure is missing her castanets, front door bezel missing its crystal; movement is in very nice overall condition, running and striking. 20 in. high x 14 in. wide x 5.25 in. deep.
