A La Ronde Léon Hatot, (ATO), No. 97861. Made circa 1948. Fine and rare, molded glass and “bakelite” electric mantel clock. C. Rectangular stepped “bakelite” base and movement housing. D. Pressed frosted and polished glass with dentilled border, radial gilt Arabic numerals on raised blocks, the center with raised decoration. Silver Art Deco hands with convex circular tips. M. 9 cm., battery driven, electromagnetic pendulum. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 22 cm.

The Belgian cast brass table clock from around 1850 features a distinctive look with its bronze elefant figurine. The casing is carried on the animal’s back and is crowned by an amphora. The figurine stands on a rectangular, red marble base.
The table clock is in very good condition with minor signs of age. It starts running and comes with a key. The dimensions are 38 x 22 x 12 cm (height x width x depth), the dial has a diameter of 12.5 cm. The clock ran perfectly during a short-time test; but long term precision and regularity cannot be guaranteed. (ggo)
