French Rare and Unusual Large Gilt Bronze Skeleton Clock, Circa 1840, 4 1/2″ enamel dial, 30-day, heavy brass double fusee movement, very unusual large skeleton clock, in English style, large gilt bronze case, columns that support the movement have engraved decorative elements, a very similar clock with the signature of C. Detouche a Paris, who was a well-known instructional clock maker in France, is pictured in the book “Skeleton Clocks” by F.B. Royer-Collard, pages 85-86, excellent condition overall, beat plate indicator replacement, dome and base probably not original to this clock. Height 21″ (including dome).
French Large Mahogany Pinwheel Jeweler’s Regulator Clock, Circa 1850, 14 including bezel” white enamel dial, 8-day, bird cage movement with pinwheel escapement, large jeweler regulator with sweep second bit & single jar mercury pendulum (mercury replaced with silvered insert), large engraved silvered beat plate near bottom, excellent restored condition. Height 76″.

Large French Crystal Regulator: with live mercury 2 tube pendulum. With a 6″ porcelain dial and time and gong striking movement. It is numbered 2491, 12 and 87, also marked Vincenti & Cie and H & F Paris. The case is bronze with beveled glass.

D’Or)”, base of statue is also signed Aug. Moreau, a wonderful large swing arm clock that has been professionally restored to its original splendor, sometimes referred to as “Flower Girl”, excellent restored condition, with repair to woman’s left arm,. Large French Bronze Chariot Clock. 5 in. porcelain dial with fancy pierced gilt hands; brass spring driven movement signed ÂA.D. Mougin & ÂBlack, Starr & Frost, New YorkÂ, has a half hour strike on a coiled gong and original pendulum w/ matching numbers. In a large case with figural 2 tone gilt and silvered bronze figure of a soldier steering a chariot drawn by 4 horses rearing back; has silvered columns and applied mounts on the front of the case and stands on claw feet. Running & in good overall condition with a good original finish showing some typical wear from age, chip on the dial at 12. Measures 12. In. high x 17 in. wide x 12.5 in. deep.
