Large French Figural Cupid Mantle Clock. 3.5 in. porcelain dial signed “Grobe, a. Paris” has black Roman hour numerals, 5 minute numbers outside, gilt pierced hands and beaded door bezel with convex crystal; typical round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed Japy Freres, has a half hour strike on a bell. In a large 2 tone gilt and medium brown patina bronze case with large figure of a winged cupid writing on a scroll, he is draped with a golden robe, seated on his bow and quiver of arrows and accompanied by a large dove at his side. Exceptional case in very good condition with no damage, movement is running and striking. 19.5 in. high x 19 in. wide x 14 in. deep. Weight: 67.25 lbs.

Large bronze figure of a woman, Pandora, seated on a plinth with lion’s head on the side, she wears a loose dress and an open box lays beside her; on a dark brown polished marble base with bronze mounts and feet, unsigned. 5.5 in. black marble dial with gilt incised Roman hour numerals, gilt brass center and brass hands; large round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed “S. Marti & Cie”, has an half hour strike on a bell, in running condition, has key and pendulum, case is in excellent condition, missing rear door. 25.5 in. high x 18 in. wide x 9 in. deep. French Empire Silk Thread Figural Bronze Cupid Clock. Gilt bronze of a figural standing winged cupid beside a whetstone grinding wheel, he smiles as he sharpens the arrow of love; the clock is contained in the body below with French Empire period designed tables on either side, one with a jug and cup, the other with a basket of flowers, the scene in the arched panel of the base depicts a dog seated on a rock and watching cupid string his bow. 4 in. porcelain dial has black hour numerals and blued open moon hands; brass spring driven 8 day movement has a silk thread suspension and half hour strike on a bell. In very good condition, beautiful finish, no breaks or repairs, tip of the arrow is missing. 18 in. high x 12.5 in. wide x 5 in. deep.

Vincenti Bronze Cupid & Lady Figural Clock: French dore and marble clock with a figure of a cupid handing a floral wreath to a woman. The porcelain dial is 3 1/4″ with a beveled glass cover. The time and strike movement is numbered 994 and 55, also marked A-1. Made in France and Vincenti.

(strike spring is wound tight, strike bell is missing and the dial has a edge chip.)

Large French Marble Mantle Clock. 5 in. Recessed porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals on the chapter ring, black open moon hands, exposed Brocot escapement with jeweled pallets and brass bezel with beveled door glass; typical, round, French, brass movement, signed L’ Marti & Cie, with bell strike and gilt brass gridiron pendulum. In a large black marble case having a round top with green marble around the bezel, the base has a single door with beveled glass, reeded green marble half columns and carved corbels on the sides. 18.5 in. high x 15 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep.
