Large Bronze Westminster Bracket Clock. 7 in. relief decorated bronze dial with figural sun in the center, black incised hour numbers on domical silvered panels, trident hands and hinged brass door bezel with beveled crystal; brass 8 day triple chain fusee movement has a progressive quarter hour Westminster strike on 4 coiled gongs and hour strike on a large cathedral gong, heavy brass covered pendulum bob with lockdown hardware, rear plate is numbered “1703”. In an elaborate bronze case with the word “Time” inscribed (front and back) on the finial top, hanging garland, pineapple corner finials, relief and pierced decorated filigree and a figural winged putti mounted below the dial. movement is running and striking, silvering worn from number panels, missing 5 of 8 corner finials above the feet, door bezel does not close tight. 28″ high x 16″ wide x 13.5″ deep.
