Large 3 Weight Black Forest Cuckoo Clock. Heavily carved black forest case with running deer on the front, surrounded in oak leaves and branches, ferns and evergreens; a very nice woodland motif with a large eagle on the crest with glass beaded eyes. 9 in. dial with applied porcelain Roman hour numerals and faux antler carved hands. 2 door front with cuckoo bird and German man. Bird cuckoos on the half hour and the man appears on the hour while a music box plays, movement has fancy pierced brass plates and pinecone weights. Excellent working condition, runs and plays, bellows need repair; overcoated finish, no major breaks or losses, eagle’s beak has a chip at the tip. 53 in. high x 26 in. high x 15 in. deep.

Attr: Johann Baptist Beha Black Forest Carved Cuckoo Table Clock. 6 in. wood dial with incised and painted Roman hour numerals and pierced brass hands; double fusee spring driven movement has wooden strap plates, has an hour cuckoo strike with coiled gong, long steel pendulum rod and brass covered bob. In a carved table model case with branches, oak leaves and acorns, bird in the crest and a fox tangled in a leg trap on the front. Unsigned, in nice overall condition with an enhanced original finish, has a few carving repairs, running and striking, cuckoo bird is working. 22 in. high x 14 in. wide x 9 in. deep. Weight: 16.5 lbs.

Probably 1880-1910 era, hand carved in Black Forest area, pheasant and rabbit carved with birds and deer crest, there are a very few small pieces of wood carving missing but overall, its really in good condition considering its age and the amount of carving. 36″ tall by 31″ wide. It is just hard to describe the carving work in this, extremely detailed and seemingly all original finish. The cuckoo is inside and the door for the cuckoo to come out is missing.

Description: Large Ornate Carved Black Forest Cuckoo Clock:, Stag and Doe with Bird Finial, Circa 1890: With a 3 train 30 hour weight driven movement, which strikes on the hour and 1/2 hour with the cuckoo, followed by a music box playing 1 of 4 tunes every 1/2 hour. A cuckoo bird appears as the clock strikes and a Zither player appears when the music box plays. The base is comprised of deer antlers. (One antler is damaged.) Sells as is, where is.

Cuckoo Clock. 5 in. dial has applied porcelain hour markers with black Roman hour numerals and pierced hands; brass weight driven movement has square plates with lyre shaped cutouts, hour strike on a coiled gong and cuckoo bird with good whistles & bellows in good working condition. In a carved walnut case with swirling filigree throughout on the crest, along the front; in good condition with minor repairs to the carvings. 21 in. high x 16 in. wide x 8.5 in. deep.
