L. P. Japy & Cie 1878 Slate Mantel Clock: No. 1171 with bell strike movement. The dial reads “14 OR 74 Rue de Rivoli Paris”. There are other words above the hands but they are too worn to make out. The pendulum is also marked No. 1171.
The clock is running and striking at this time.

LF Japy & Cie 1878 Hanging Cartel Clock: The bell striking movement is also marked H&F Paris 1714. The porcelain dial is marked St Germain. The bronze case has a face below the dial with leaves and berries along the sides. The springs are good.
