Kroeber Mantle Clock – Java. 5 in. paper dial with silver bezel, spade hands; 1 day spring driven movement, half hour count wheel strike with coiled gong, brass gridiron pendulum with grape lead embellishment and beat adjustment indicator behind beveled glass in the bob. Walnut case with arched top, scroll carved crest with center rosette and incised side corbels; reverse gilt decorated door glass. 18.5 in. high x 11.5 in. wide.

Kroeber Inlaid Mantle Clock – Saratoga. 5 in. inset porcelain dial with fancy pierced hands, brass 8 day spring driven movement signed F. Kroeber, New York, has an hour count wheel strike on a bell and gridiron pendulum with cut glass beveled mirror bob. Case has an original ebonized finish with arched crest, turned finials, filigree inlays, gilt incising and obverse decorated frosted etched door glass. In good condition with no breaks or losses, movement is running and striking. 20 in. high x 12.5 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.
