A late 19th century Junghans Animated novelty clock. 30-hr key wind time only movement with Silvered dial and Arabic numerals, eyes and mouth move up and down as it ticks. Cast Iron case with patinated Spelter Monkey facade with painted detail. Some wear, running when cataloged, eyes and mouth need adjustment. 9 3/4" high. ESTIMATE $300-400

A late 19th century German Animated novelty clock by K. Mayer & Sohne. 30-hr key wind time only movement with porcelain dial and Roman numerals, stamped "Mayer" verso, and subsidiary thermometer. Cast Iron "Basket" case features three dog figures with animated tongues peeking out of the top. Old Silvered finish with some wear, dial hairlines, running when cataloged. 6" high.
