Baird “Jolly Tar” Advertising Clock: With a TO movement and a metal Seth Thomas dial also marked “Adv. Clocks Edw. P. Baird & Co. New York and Montreal”. The upper case reads “Jolly Tar, Pastime, Old Honesty, Plank Road”. The side medallions read “Boot Jack” and “Five Bros.”. The lower case reads “Compliments of John Finzer & Bro’s”. The lower glass reads “Tobacco Manufacturers Louisville, Kentucky”. The pendulum and directions are with the clock.
This clock was masterfully crafted by Dick Broline, the owner.

Baird Tobacco Advertising Clock: This clock, which is advertising for “Fine Brothers Tobacco, Smoke & Chew” has a TO movement; a marked paper dial; an interior label with directions about the clock; and the pendulum and key.
The clock appears to be all original.
(The clock has wood splits to the case and shows age.) Not tested.

Baird Advertising Clock Venoya Tea. 12 in. Paper dial with black Roman hour numerals, signed Baird Clock Co. Plattsburgh, NY, blued spade hands (tarnished); has a brass time only spring driven movement with long pendulum rod and brass covered bob. Figure eight style case with original red painted surface, carved and painted lettering around the door reads ÂVenoya Tea and lower door panel reads ÂThe New Tea, Venoya, Combines the strength of Indian Tea with the flavor of Ceylon TeaÂ. Original finish, in very good original condition, has a chip to the lower part of the lower advertising panel, c.1895. Measures 30 in. high x 18 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

Montreal; brass time only spring driven movement signed Made by Seth Thomas Clock Co. for Edw. P. Baird, New York & Montreal, has steel pendulum rod and brass covered bob. In a miniature Baird figure 8 style case with paper mache advertising with deep cut gilt lettering and design for Spanish Blacking  Is The Very Best, original red finish in good condition, has crack in original lower door glass, c. 1888. 27.5 in. long x 16 in. wide x 4.75 in. deep.
