English Elliot, London Marquetry Queen Anne Style Walnut Long Case Clock, Circa 1910, 11″ brass dial with cast spandrels & silvered chapter ring, 8-day, well made brass weight driven movement with maintaining power and adjustable dead beat escapement, the cabinet rare & beautifully executed inlaid wood was made meticulously from the design of the early 18th century, plaque inside door indicates a New York firm imported the clock from England, Elliot is well known for superior clock movements at the turn of 19-20th centuries — as fine a clock as you could own from the period it was made, suitable for a formal room setting, excellent condition.
