English. An early 18th century lantern clock. Crown wheel escapement, 8-day movement with pendulum verge escapement. John Barrow was a respected English clockmaker who apprenticed in 1671, and was 'free' in the Clockmakers Company in 1681. Active 1681-1719. 15 x 7 1/2 x 6 1/2". Fred Kolishenko Collection.
