Pierced brass double fusee spring driven movement is signed ÂChauncey Jerome, New Haven, Conn. USA, movement sits on an iron bracket; has count wheel strike mechanism, coiled gong, and turned wood fusee barrels, original Chauncey Jerome paper label in the back of the case. Mahogany steeple case with conical finials, original floral reverse painted lower tablet with black background, case is in very good condition; fusee Âstrings are detached. 20 in high x 10 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

Mid to Late 19th century Mahogany case ogee shelf clock by Jerome & Co., New Haven, CT. Having a hand-painted sqaure Zinc dial with Roman numerals. Held behind a double pane glass dooor, the lower panel having a reverse painted depiction of the Merchcant Exchange in Philadelphia, PA. Fit with a Time and Strike movement.
