Jerome double fusee beehive mantel clock, very early model having integrated brass fusee mainspring barrels, mahogany case has been refinished and the dial repainted, original acid etched tablet and upper glass, original label has darkened but mostly intact, door latch replaced, club hands are well executed replacements, running, strike functional. 19 in. high x 10 1/2 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

Pierced brass double fusee spring driven movement is signed “Chauncey Jerome, New Haven, Conn. USA, movement sits on an iron bracket; has count wheel strike mechanism, coiled gong, and turned wood fusee barrels, original Chauncey Jerome paper label in the back of the case. Mahogany steeple case with conical finials, original floral reverse painted lower tablet with black background, case is in very good condition; fusee “strings” are detached. 20 in high x 10 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

Chauncey Jerome Mahogany Detached Double Fusee Steeple Mantle Clock. 5 in. replaced metal dial has black Roman hour numeral and replaced blued hands, signed Chauncey Jerome, New Haven, Conn.; brass detached double fusee movement has an hour strike on a coiled gong and long drop pendulum hanging from the top of the case and brass covered pendulum bob, movement signed Chauncey Jerome, New Haven Conn. In a mahogany steeple style case with conical turned finials and reverse painted tablet with lyre and border; paper label in the back of the case for Chauncey Jerome. Case is refinished, tablet paint is worn and faded, and strike mechanism is not working. 19.5 in. high x 10 in. wide x 4.25 in. deep.

Rosewood steeple shelf clock case has pointed crest with turned finials, frosted door glass and painted dial with raised chapter ring having black Roman hour numerals and open spade hands; signed C. Jerome. Pierced brass 30 hour double fusee movement has a mahogany fusee cone driving the strike and a brass fusee cone driving the time mechanism, count wheel strike mechanism with coiled gong; movement is signed – C. Jerome New Haven Conn. Has replaced fusee threads, case is in original finish and overall good condition with some bleaching to the left back corner and minor veneer flaking. 20.5 in. high x 11 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep
