Chauncey Jerome Fusee Steeple Clock. Painted metal dial with fancy hands, black Roman hour numerals and floral decorations. Pierced brass double fusee spring driven movement is signed ÂChauncey Jerome, New Haven, Conn. USA, movement sits on an iron bracket; has count wheel strike mechanism, coiled gong, and turned wood fusee barrels, original Chauncey Jerome paper label in the back of the case. Mahogany steeple case with conical finials, original floral reverse painted lower tablet with black background, case is in very good condition; fusee Âstrings are detached. 20 in high x 10 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

Chauncey Jerome Mahogany Detached Double Fusee Steeple Mantle Clock. 5 in. replaced metal dial has black Roman hour numeral and replaced blued hands, signed Chauncey Jerome, New Haven, Conn.; brass detached double fusee movement has an hour strike on a coiled gong and long drop pendulum hanging from the top of the case and brass covered pendulum bob, movement signed Chauncey Jerome, New Haven Conn. In a mahogany steeple style case with conical turned finials and reverse painted tablet with lyre and border; paper label in the back of the case for Chauncey Jerome. Case is refinished, tablet paint is worn and faded, and strike mechanism is not working. 19.5 in. high x 10 in. wide x 4.25 in. deep.

Nice little steeple clock with original gothic door glass painting, orig dial, old orig finish, barrel pendulum, good inside label, diminutive size at 15 x 8 inches, good running condition. Running condition is not guaranteed once the clock is moved. Flaking to the dial and a few veneer flakes, all original condition.
