J.C. Brown Ripple Front Beehive Mantle Clock. 4.5 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals and good period hands, signed J.C. Brown Forestville, Ct. US.; brass spring driven movement has an hour strike on a coiled gong and brass covered pendulum bob, movement signed J.C. Brown, Forestville, Conn. and partial paper label in the back of the case. In a rosewood beehive case with ripple carved front and reverse painted tablet. In good condition with a clean original finish, has a minor repair to the upper bezel beside the door hinge. 15.5 in. high x 9 in. wide x 3.5 in. deep.

Brown Ripple Front Beehive Clock w/ Alarm. 5.5 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals, fancy blued hands and open cutout in the center displaying the brass alarm indicator disc; has an 8 day brass spring driven movement with hour count wheel strike mechanism on a coiled gong, brass covered pendulum bob, movement signed ÂJ.C. Brown, Forestville, CT, U.S.A., separate spring driven alarm mechanism in the base strikes on a brass bell. In a rosewood beehive style case with carved ripple front, original reverse painted tablet in the door with a rose, yellow flowers and silver filigree on a blue background, partial paper label in the back of the case for J.C. Brown. Case has an enhanced original finish, strike mechanism is not striking properly, movement is running. 18.75 in. high x 10.5 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

Brown, Forestville Conn.; brass spring driven 8 day movement with count wheel hour strike mechanism on a coiled gong, movement signed J.C. Brown, Forestville, CT and has a brass covered pendulum bob. Beautiful rosewood ripple front steeple case has original finish, original turned finials and original reverse painted tablet. In good general condition with points broken from the finial and some scratching and loss to the reverse painting. No breaks, cracks or losses to the case front or sides, no extra hole and full original paper label in the back of the case. 20 in. high x 10 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

Brown, Forestville, Conn. In a rosewood steeple form case with carved ripple front and turned corner finials; reverse decorated frosted tablet has filigree and a hot air balloon over a lake. In good condition, has original glasses, cleaned and enhanced finish and a small chip to the tip of one finial. 16 in. high x 8.5 in. wide x 3.5 in. deep.
