Case surmounted byclassically dressed woman. Porcelain hand painted panel below dial depicting an angel with trumpet. Bands of porcelain along base with painted floral motif. Second Half of 19th Century. 15″ tall x 25″ wide.

French Japy Frères Scenic Mantel Clock: With a T&S movement marked “Japy Frères” and numbered “15639”; a porcelain dial with bubble Roman Numerals and a blue and gold butterfly center. In a metal case with 4-toe pawed feet; a scroll and laurel garland and a painted porcelain scenic panel with a country stream on it.
(The clock is not running or chiming at this time. The hammer wants to strike but it is in the wrong position to do so. There is no pendulum or key with the clock.)
