French Japy Freres, Oriental Style Clock: the time and bell striking movement is marked Japy Freres & Cie, numbered 4110. the 5″ polished slate dial has John Bolland- St. Louis painted on it along with fancy Roman numerals. The dial’s center is metal with vines and a butterfly. The case is made of slate and brown marble with brass ornaments and scenic metal front plate showing cranes and foliage. It is topped with a mythical animal with curled horns.
(The time of strike needs adjusted. The back access door is a replacement, also its mounting plate.)

Japy Freres Brass Crystal Regulator. 3.5 in. white porcelain dial has pierced gilt brass overlay and bezel with black Arabic hour numbers and black hands; typical round French brass spring driven movement signed Japy Freres, has a half hour strike on a toned coiled gong and has a 2 jar mercurial pendulum. In a gilt brass case with urn top and turned finial, reeded columns on the corners and jasperware rondels across the top and bottom moldings on the front. In very good, running condition. 16 in. high x 7.5 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

Japy Freres French Brass & Tin Clock: the 8 day time with half hour bell striking movement is signed and numbered 85553. The ivorine dial is 4″ wide and has no problems. The case is shaped as a crystal regulator. The top, base and corner uprights are bronze, the sides are decorated tin.
