J. Soldano Hour Repeater Carriage Clock w/ Alarm. Bronze case has an archer top with curved and beveled viewing glass in the top, hinged handle, repeater-alarm button sits flush on the top of the arch, figural maiden pilasters on the corners and beveled glass on the sides and back. Porcelain dial has a 2 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, alarm dial below, open moon hands and signed Gillett & Johnston, Croydon. Quality spring driven French brass movement signed Soldano, has a platform lever escapement with good balance wheel, blued coiled gong for half hour strike and alarm, has a 1 hour repeater mechanism. Clock is in good condition with no breaks or repairs, time, alarm and repeater mechanisms are all in good working condition. 8 in. high x 4.25 in. wide x 3.75 in. deep.

Quality Swiss Hour Repeater Carriage Clock w/ Alarm. 2 in. filigree engraved silvered dial with black incised hour numerals and fancy hands, sub alarm dial below; quality brass spring driven movement with platform lever escapement, half hour strike mechanism on a blued coiled gong and hour repeater button on the top, the alarm is driven by a separate spring with a second hammer pairing to the single coiled gong. In a heavy gilt brass case with filigree turned handle, fluted corner columns, beveled glasses on the front, sides, rear door and exposing the escapement on the top, 2 tone with copper frame around the front glass, lower mount and decorated apron below. In good running condition, dial is very clean, strike, alarm and repeater mechanisms are running, case finish is beautiful, has a small hairline in the lower corner of the right side glass. 8.25 in. high x 4.25 in. wide x 3.75 in. deep.

French clock made for the Chinese market, has a porcelain dial with 2 in. chapter ring having black Roman hour numerals, sub alarm dial below, open moon hands, sweep seconds hand and signed Hirsbrunner & Co., Shanghai; brass spring driven French movement has lever platform escapement with good balance, rack & snail strike mechanism strikes once on the half hour and then the hour, has a repeater button on top of the case. The brass case has a handle on top, all over engraved design and beveled glass on the front, back, sides and top exposing the escapement. Movement stamped with Chinese markings on the back, case has a worn finish and the time spring is broken. 6 in. high x 4 in. wide x 3.25 in. deep.
