J.J. Elliott Inlaid Mahogany Grandfather Clock. Large 12 in. silvered dial with a brass backplate signed “Elliott, London”, has applied brass hour numbers, engraved center, sub seconds dial, brass filigree corner spandrels and arched moon phase dial at the top; quality brass weight driven movement signed “J.J. Elliot, 5 Percival St., London” and “H&H” for Harris & Harrington, numbered 8154, has a deadbeat escapement, half hour strike on a single tube, brass pulleys, 2 brass covered weights and brass covered pendulum bob with steel pendulum stick. In a mahogany case with broken arched crest having turned finials, filigree and ribbon inlays, turned corner columns on the bonnet, turned quarter columns on the body with beveled glass on the front door and stands on claw feet. In very good condition with a nice enhanced original finish. 103 in. high x 26 in. wide x 17 in. deep.
