In a beautiful carved mahogany case with arched bonnet top, medallion crest, carved filigree on the frieze, pierced carved side panels and turned columns on the corners with carved capitols; the body has a long beveled glass door with turned columns having carved capitols, inset carved panel in the base with turned corner columns and stands on carved claw feet. In very good condition, case has an excellent original finish. 88.5 in. high x 27 in. wide x 18 in. deep.

Howard & Co., Boston having black Roman hour numerals and 5 minute numbers outside, brass back plate, arched moon phase at the top, sub seconds dial and gilt applied corner spandrels; quality brass 8 day weight driven movement signed ÂE. Howard & Co., BostonÂ, with maintaining power, Graham deadbeat escapement, half hour strike on a coiled gong, 2 quality brass pulleys and brass covered weights, long gilt wood pendulum rod and a brass covered bob. In a beautiful mahogany case in original finish with broken arched carved crest, turned finial and turned fluted columns on the bonnet, turned fluted quarter columns on the case body with inset door panel and a raised panel in the base. Pendulum rod is broken. 98 in. high x 21 in. wide x 13 in. deep.

Pieter Van Eeden Dutch Inlaid Grandfather Clock. c.18th Century. Brass dial has a 12 in. silvered chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and Arabic 5 minute markers outside, sub seconds dial, calendar aperture, cutout with silvered figure of father time which is animated with the pendulum, silvered ring outside reads Tempus Fugit and signed Pieter Van Eeden, Amsterdam. Brass weight driven movement has an hour strike on an iron bell at the top of the movement, brass pulleys, brass covered weights and pendulum rod with brass covered bob. The walnut case is beautifully inlaid with birds, urns, flowers and filigree with turned columns on the bonnet and turned feet. In very good condition, no missing inlays, has a good old refinish. 93 in. high x 18 in. wide x 9 in. deep.
