Ives Mirror Clock. Painted iron dial has a 6.5 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and open spade hands. Quality weight driven movement has silvered plates and large brass gears, iron side weights hang from brass pulleys at the top of the case, has an iron bell strike with rack & snail strike mechanism; brass covered pendulum bob hangs on a long steel rod. In a large triple decker mahogany case with broken arch crest & brass spherical finials; maple front serpentine corbels over long reeded pilasters. Has original scenic reverse painted glass around the dial and lower tablet with a mirror between. Glasses are in good condition with no cracks or inpainting, original mirror has a crack in the lower right corner. 57.5 in. high x 20 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.
