A late 19th century Ithaca “Emerald No. 5” model double dial calendar shelf clock. 8-day time & strike movement with lower calendar mechanism and papered metal dials. The upper movement is marked “Manf’d for the Ithaca Clock Co., E. N. Welch M’f’g Co. “. In a Walnut case with a single molded door and carved crown with Burl columns and panels, Ebonized detail. Old finish with minor wear, original finials, minor dial discoloration, bezels of the bezels have been painted Black, running and striking sluggishly when cataloged. 32 3/4” high.

Ithaca # 5 Emerald Double Dial Calendar Clock, 8 day time and strike, spring driven, with one 7″ and one 8″ dial, nickel pendulum and bob. Walnut case with burled panels and ebonized trim and nickel bezels. Circa 1880.
(The case finish and dials have been restored. The nickel finish is slightly worn on bezels. Finials have been replaced and the lower right post has a small deep alligator area.
