Description

Ithaca No. 5 1/2 Hanging Belgrade Double Dial Calendar Clock. Original 8 in. paper dial has black Roman hour numerals, fancy blued hands; brass 8 day spring driven movement with hour strike on a coiled gong and long carved wood pendulum & bob, unsigned. Original paper 8 in. lower calendar dial has 31 date numbers outside with open aperture cutouts exposing the month & day cylinders; has a good brass perpetual calendar mechanism in working condition, original paper labels. In an ash case with pierced carved crest and black incised highlights throughout, in good condition with an excellent enhanced original finish; minor repair to the tip of the teardrop carving on the bracket, has a split in the wood dial board, the crest carvings are replaced. 37 in. high x 14 in. wide x 7 in. deep.
