A late 19th century Ithaca No. 3 1/2 Calendar shelf clock. 8-day time and strike movement with lower calendar mechanism, original Black upper and glass lower dials, and original pendulum with "I C C Co." glass insert. Walnut case with carved crest Ebonized columns and applied decoration and silvered detail on a molded base. Older finish with minor wear, enhanced numerals on upper dial, upper half of the backboard has been replaced with sheet metal at some time, running when cataloged. 20 1/2" high. Ithaca no. 8 shelf library calendar clock with 8-day time and strike movement and separate lower calendar movement, has club tooth escape wheel with half-deadbeat escapement, movement signed "E.N. Welch and Made for the Ithaca Calendar Clock Co," original lower calendar dial, upper paper dial removed and painted, walnut case has been refinished, calendar is sticky and does not advance with the hands but does when the rod is moved up and down manually, hands and pendulum are original, calendar hand has been painted red, backboard is original with the hinges being a later addition, running, strike functional. 27 in. high x 12 in. wide x 4.75 in. deep.
