This elegant and extraordinary mantle clock originates from the time of the Art Déco around 1930 and is made of different kinds of marble. It is attributed to the Russian sculptor George Lavroff. On top of the clock, on can see a lying Native American made of bronze, which shows contrasting colored details on the feathers and on his trousers. Two floral crowned copper vases flank this ensemble. The incomparability of this mantle decoration lies in its incorporation of different materials, especially different kinds of marble, and therefore in its different colorfulness. This is a truly unique item- a collectorÂs piece for anyone with a fondness for rarities.
The table clock is in good original condition. One hand is missing. During in house testing the clock started, but long term precision and regularity cannot be guaranteed. An overhaul is recommended. The dimensions are 38 x 61 x 12.5 cm. (sku)
