Description: Up for auction is a very large and very gorgeous antique continental oak jugendstil regulator wall clock. The clock is not currently running and has some pieces that are disconnected or broken off. We are selling this clock AS IS for parts, repair, or restoration. The clock comes with all the original pieces, including: two weights, two decorative wood minarets, and the original winding key with a little wooden handle. The point where the pendulum hooks onto the clock movement has been broken off, but is still being included with the clock for future repair use. With some TLC from a clockmaker or repairperson, this clock will make a beautiful addition to anyones collection!

Antique Continental black onyx case mantel clock having a figural lion motif crafted of what appears to be gilt brass. Clad to front with openwork floral brass plate housing a hand painted porcealin plaque depicting a courting couple. Measures approx. 20 1/2" height x 13 1/2" width x 5 1/2" depth. There is a seem on marble stone that top lion is standing on that indicates it may have been repaired at one point in time? We have no key to test the movement.
