Brass signed Howard & Davis weight driven movement with recoil escapement, lead weight, brass pendulum bob with wood stick and lock-down hardware mounted to wood baffle. Rosewood grained hardwood case has black and gold reverse painted throat glass and tablet, has some minor inpainting around the black; good original finish, bottom of case is loose, dial is replaced. 38 in. In a grain painted rosewood banjo style case having black & gilt reverse painted door and throat glasses; in a good old original finish and good running condition, has repaired tongues at the top and bottom of the throat glass. 38 in. high.
