Howard & Davis No. 3 Banjo Clock. 9 in. painted metal dial, black Roman hour numerals, black open moon hands, dial signed Howard & Davis Boston. Brass 8 day weight driven movement, signed Howard & Davis, Boston with recoil escapement, iron weight and brass pendulum bob with wood stick. Rosewood & rosewood grained banjo style case has black and gold reverse painted throat glass and tablet, good original dark finish. 38 in. High x 16 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

Howard Weight Driven #3 Banjo Clock: time only, weight driven movement with an original 8 1/2″ dial. In a case resembling rosewood. With key, crank style. The movement is signed Howard & Davis Boston in three lines.
(Heavily crazed and with some staining. The finish on the lower door is worn.)
