A 19th century Hills, Goodrich & Co. Ogee shelf clock. 8-day time and strike weight driven Brass movement with gilded wooden crest flanked by gilded columns. Figured Mahogany case with single long door, clear upper and reverse painted lower glasses. Older finish in fair condition, lacks dial, hands, pendulum and weights, repainted lower glass, extensive veneer loss. 30 1/2″ high.

In a mahogany case with overhanging cornice top, original reverse painted tablet with scene of Buckingham Palace, glass side panels over mirrored side panels and paper label in the back of the case for Chauncey & Goodrich, Bristol, CT. 3 of 4 side panels are cracked, mirrors have some silver touchups and losses, case is in nice refinished condition, movement and strike not running. 13.5 in. high x 9 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
