An early 20th century Herschede Pattern No. 97 hall clock. 8-day weight driven time and strike movement with quarter hour striking on 9 tubular chimes with fancy engraved Brass dial, with painted Moon phase, a Silvered chapter ring, Roman numerals and three subsidiary dials including seconds, Chime/Silent and Westminster/8 Bells. Massive carved Mahogany case with repeated dentil moldings and oval beveled glass side panels features an arched hood with carved foliate crest over a conforming dial door with beveled glass flanked by turned columns with carved Ionic capitols and turned bases over a waist section with carved frieze featuring scrolled foliated and Bellflower design above a waist door with carved ends and beveled glass insert, squat raised panel base with molded plinth and compressed Paw feet. Original deep Mahogany finish has been cleaned and polished with minor wear, running when cataloged. 24 x 17 1/2 x 97" high overall. Tiffany Gothic style oak tallcase chiming clock the arched pediment with deeply carved acanthus molding over a glazed door, flanked by gothic columns, enclosing the ornate broken arch brass dial, with moon phase painted dial to arch. Silvered chapter and subsidiary second, silent, chime selection, arch calendar rings and Arabic numerals. The dial engraved "Tiffany and Co. England". The brass, four pillar, three train movement with Durfee 9-tube "Westminster," "St. Michael" or "Whittington" chime movement, stamped: "England 9352." The trunk with gothic arched glazed door opening to the 9-tube, three brass weights and brass pendulum, the sides carved with linen fold panels. The lower plinth with carved acanthine molding over a gothic panel, raised on bracket feet. Fabric on back panels replaced. 96"H x 25"W x 18"D, Circa – 1900 – 1910.

A 1970’s Herschede Chiming Hall clock. 8-day time and strike movement with engraved Brass dial, Silvered chapter ring and upper moon phase aperture, quarter hour chiming on nine tubes in either Westminster, Whittington or Canterbury tunes. Cherry case with scrolled, molded crown over a single long door with beveled glass flanked by full length fluted columns. Original finish with minor wear, running and chiming properly when cataloged. 86 1/2″ high overall.

A late 19th/early 20th century Gothic Revival Oak Hall clock by Tobey & Co., Chicago, IL. model 31023 . High quality 8-day Brass three weight movement by “Joseph Jennens, Skinner Street, Clerkenwell, London” with quarter hour striking on eight bells (Whittington) or four coiled gongs (Westminster) with fifth hour gong, finely engraved Brass dial with Silvered Chapter, seconds, Chime/Silent and Chime selector rings with upper painted Moon phase with Silvered date register and hemispheres. Exceptionally well carved case attributed to R. J. Horner & Co. with Gothic spires, upper Jester figure and hood side balcony’s supported by carved Gargoyles, carved open work waist door and lower panel with mask and Gothic tracery, carved linen-fold side panels. Original dark finish with slight wear, some tarnish on dial, running and striking and chiming correctly when cataloged. 107″ high overall.
