Handsome French Restauration Gilt-Bronze Clock
second quarter 19th century, the central clock case decorated with angels flanking an oil lamp, a classical maiden to one side and a lyre on a curule footstool on the other, the base decorated with a procession of putti, one being drawn in a chariot and fanned with palm fronds by a winged putto, mounted with a silk-string suspension movement.

second quarter 19th century, depicting the scene between Dorine and Tartuffe from the 1664 play by Moliere, with a book inscribed "Acte III Tartuf…" between the two figures, the cove-molded base resting on scrolled feet, with a central masque and a pierced skirt, the silk-string suspension movement signed by Japy Freres.

French Restauration Bronze Patine and Marble Three-Piece Clock Set
second quarter 19th century, the clock with a figure of Heracles, holding the infant Telephos, and leaning against the clock, and set with a tazza-form finial, now with a stone spherule, the works set with an engine-turned gilt-bronze dial and the case trimmed with patinated anthemia, lotus and acanthus leaves, h. 19-3/4", w. 13", d. 5-1/2", and the matching candlesticks with Siena marble standards and bases, trimmed with acanthus leaves and standing on bronze paw feet, h. 11-1/4", dia. 4-1/4".
