A mahogany inlay fine Federal tall case clock dating to circa 1790- 1820.With a large tympanum having scrolls rising to inlay rosettes aside a brass eagle finial. A fine mahogany and inlay Federal tall case clock with an eight day bell strike clockworks. Probably New York or New Jersey, ca 1790-1810. Height is 91″.

early 18th century, brass and silvered dial signed "Peter King/St. Giles's/Fecit, London", seconds sweep and date aperture, mask decorated spandrels, sarcophagus hood with barley twist colonettes and brass finials, Japanned waisted case of tall narrow form, door centering a glass bullseye, with pendulum, two weights, and winder, 90-1/2 x 21-1/2 x 10-1/2 in.

George Hewett Marlborough Oak Tall Case Clock: With bell striking movement and a dial with an engraved brass center. George Hewett, the maker’s whose name is engraved on the dial, was an early 18th Century clock maker. The plain oak case has the original iron butterfly hinges in the lower door and lock plate.

Early Morbier 2 Wt. Tall Case Clock, 3 Pc. Case: With a steel dial that has a day of month display and is framed in brass with hammered designs, the front brass plate has been reattached to a modern backplate. The strike bell is above the newer English Grandfather movement. The 3 piece case has burr wood veneer and inlaid designs on what looks like mahogany as a base. The case has a keyhole front and a drop out access door.

The dial and clockworks to an early 19th century clockworks like found in Pennsylvania tall clocks, or hanging on the wall as a “wag-on-wall” clock. The tombstone dial measures 16 1/2″ X 12″. The metal geared clockworks are the eight day type, with wooden plates. There is an indistinct signature on the back of the case. Lacking pendulum and weights.
