A late 19th century Gustav Becker wall clock. 8-day weight driven time and quarter hour Grand Sonnerie striking movement with engraved dial, Silvered chapter ring and Arabic numerals, serial #231777, matching engraved Brass dial center, pendulum and weights. Walnut case with applied Brass decoration features a shaped galleried crest and molded cornice above a long door with fluted pilasters, circular dial glass and rectangular lower over a shaped lower drop and lower edge. Refinished with minor wear, restored crest and drop, added Brass embellishments, running when cataloged. 51" high overall. ESTIMATE $600-800
