Baird Advertising Clock Venoya Tea. 12 in. Paper dial with black Roman hour numerals, signed Baird Clock Co. Plattsburgh, NY, blued spade hands (tarnished); has a brass time only spring driven movement with long pendulum rod and brass covered bob. Figure eight style case with original red painted surface, carved and painted lettering around the door reads ÂVenoya TeaÂ and lower door panel reads ÂThe New Tea, Venoya, Combines the strength of Indian Tea with the flavor of Ceylon TeaÂ. Original finish, in very good original condition, has a chip to the lower part of the lower advertising panel, c.1895. Measures 30 in. high x 18 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

In a miniature Baird figure 8 style case with paper mache advertising with deep cut gilt lettering and design for Spanish Blacking Â Is The Very Best, original red finish in good condition, has crack in original lower door glass, c. 1888. 27.5 in. long x 16 in. wide x 4.75 in. deep.

Rustic figure eight style case with carved silver painted lettering around the door and lower glass which reads, Vanner & Prests Molliscorium Â Compo Embrocation Â V.P. Trade Mark. Original finish, dial has some wear, crack in the door and age cracks on the board behind the dial.

"Figure 8" composition case with advertising on upper and lower doors. Paper label on interior backboard 70% intact. Old painted finish with extensive wear, dial repainted and flaking, running when cataloged. 30 1/4" high. ESTIMATE $600-800
