A late 19th century Gothic Revival Bracket clock with the original bracket, retailed by Camerer, Cuss & Co., London (original paper label on seatboard). 8-day triple train fusee movement with quarter hour chiming on 8 Bells with a coiled gongs for the hours, engraved Silvered dial with Roman numerals. Cathedral form Oak case with extensive carved and applied detail features an arched central peak and four corner spires over a carved frieze and single lower door surrounded by Gothic tracery and columns on each corner, shaped base with carved frieze and a stepped molded base, sits atop the bracket with matching carvings, molded buttresses and turned drop finials. Original dark finish with some wear, several small losses and older repairs, three replaced top finials, some dial wear, running when cataloged. Clock measures 17 3/4 x 10 3/4 x 34 1/4" high, Bracket measures 20 1/4 x 11 3/4 x 14 1/4" high. ESTIMATE $4,000-6,000
