the clock likely made by Waterbury based on the patent dates, it is possible this was a souvenir of the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, NY, in 1901, back marked with patent dates of May 6th, 1891, December, 23rd, 1890, and January 13th, 1891

Figural Putti Novelty Desk Clock w/ Alarm. Gilt brass figure of a seated putti on a plinth and white marble base, holding the clock drum above his head; has a 2 in. porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals and 5 minute numbers outside, dial signed Le Marais, Paris. Spring driven movement has silvered plated lever escapement, 22 jewels and signed Brevete, France, et Etranger. Seperate alarm indicator hand which strikes on a small bell inside of the case. Movement is running, case is in good condition with a nice clean gilt polished finish. 7 in. high.

2.) New Haven “Eldora” sprite figural with Made in U.S.A. on the paper dial; fixed key mechanism; no other marks. 6 1/4″ and running at this time.
3.) Waterbury “Surprise” figural clock case; lady and sprite with mirror like clock case; no other marks; no movement, this is the case only. 8 1/2″

1.) With set key wind and a porcelain dial. In a cast metal case formed as a griffin, ships wheel and captain. The back of the clock is marked “Made in U.S.A.”. The back of the case is marked “Pat. Apld. For..”. (The clock is not running at this time. There is some wear to the finish.) 10 3/4″ Tall
2.) Golden Novelty Company Figural Novelty Clock: With set key wind and an unmarked paper dial. The case is of a lady with a trumpet, seated on a bell with a cherub ringing the bell. The embossed back reads “MFGD BY THE GOLDEN NOV. CO. CHICAGO”. (The clock is not working at this time.) 12 1/8″ Tall

Figural Putti Gilt & Cobalt Porcelain Clock w/ John Wannamaker with Coin & Postcard. Beautiful French Rococo case has a glossy cobalt porcelain body decorated with gilt metal flowing filigree design at the crest and along the base with figural winged putti on either side; has a gilt metal finish which has been lacquered with a repair to one arm and a missing finger on the same hand. 4 in. porcelain dial has blue Roman hour numerals with black 5 minute numbers outside, fancy pierced filigree gilt hands; round brass spring driven 8 day movement has an half hour strike on a bell, signed ÂJohn Wannamaker, Philadelphia, New York, Paris & ÂL.P. Japy & Co.Â. Missing nut to secure bell, few chips around arbor holes on dial and door glass is replaced having a small chip. Accompanied by a postcard for the Wannamaker store in Philadelphia and a souviner trade coin for John Wannamaker, Philadelphia, 1906. Meausres 17 in. high x 10.5 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.
