Gilt Brass Cathedral Clock. Large gilt brass case in the form of a cathedral, has 2 balcony lever with pierced decorated railings around the edges, 6 large spiraling columns on the front with figural angels inset under overhanging cornices, Madonna & Child over the front door and a large steeple clock tower in the center with a pierced decorated bell tower; case has beautiful engraved and relief decorated staggered brick patterns with gothic arch style trim and spires on the corners. 3 in. porcelain dial with blue Roman hour numerals, black 5 minute numbers outside and fancy gilt pierced hands; brass 8 day spring driven movement signed “Japy Freres”, has an half hour strike on a bell. In good condition and running, dial has hairlines. 34.5 in. high x 17 in. wide x 10 in. deep.
