Gilt Brass 5 Minute Repeater Carriage Clock. Brass dial has a 2.25 in. porcelain chapter ring with black hour numbers, black hands and presentation engraving on the front to “Mr. & Mrs. Alexander Semple, From Their Friends in Broadbrook, Conn., March 16, 1892”. Brass spring driven movement has a platform lever escapement in good running condition with half hour strike on a coiled gong and 5 minute repeater buttons on the top and rear of the case. Has a gilt brass case with spiral turned hinged handle at the top and spiral turned corner columns, has beveled glasses on the rear door, front, sides and the top exposing the escapement. Strike mechanism is not working. 7.5 in. high x 4 in. wide x 3.75 in. deep.
