Gillett & Johnson Carved Mahogany Case Clock, 8 day, 8 tube and rod strike, 11 1/2″ brass and silver signed dial, a dead beat escapement, brass weights and a unusual pendulum stamped with “G & J. Z 1″ with a South Sea Island carved mahogany case. The case is carved with a princess on the front and side panels, with floral decorations, faces and other carvings everywhere. The carved panels are thick with the door being several layers over 2” thick. 19th Century.
(Strike hammer needs to be repaired and movement needs to be cleaned.)
