A late 18th/early 19th century British George III Period drop dial wall clock. 8-day time only fusee movement with a convex painted metal dial (faintly stamped "Wilson, Birmingham" on iron false plate) and Roman numerals. Figured Mahogany case with circular molded top, cast brass bezel and convex glass, carved fan shaped ears and a rounded drop with hinged access door. Recently restored finish, crazing to dial, running when cataloged. 22 1/2" high. ESTIMATE $800-1,200
