Ansonia “General” Mahogany Weight Driven Regulator. 18″ painted metal dial signed “Ansonia” has black Roman hour numerals, sub seconds and large spade hands; brass 8 day double weight driven time only movement signed “Ansonia Clock Co.” has a Graham deadbeat escapement, brass covered side weights hanging from brass pulleys and ebonized wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob. In a carved mahogany case with floral rosette in the crest, applied side crests; old repainted dial, case with overcoated finish, missing bottom section over lower bracket, running. 68″ high x 28.5″ wide x 7.25″ deep.

Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, Conn," black Roman hour numerals, inset sub seconds and pierced Maltese hands; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement has a Graham deadbeat escapement, retaining power, wooden pendulum stick with brass covered bob and silvered brass pulley with silvered brass covered weight. In a variant walnut case with turned spherical mounts on the carved crest, fancy carved frieze with corner spandrels and lower bracket with incised highlights and inset burled walnut center panel. Case is refinished, extra holes behind the replaced dial, pendulum bob replaced, running, 52.5 in. high x 18.25 in. wide x 7.5 in. deep.
