ÂShellÂ Model Lunar Dial Calendar Mantle Clock. 6 in. paper dial has black hands, inset center dial is Hayden’s patent, has 3 indicators pointing to 31 dates, moon phases and more; has a pierced brass spring driven movement with count wheel hour strike mechanism, steel bell and JacotÂs patented pendulum. In GilbertÂs ÂShellÂ model walnut case with overhanging arched top having a large shell crest, long teardrop finials, carved corbels with rosettes and reverse etched door glass. In good condition and original finish. 22 in. high x 14 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

Welch No. 2 Double Dial Calendar Regulator. 12 in. painted metal Âdish styleÂ dial with black Roman hour numerals, days of the week inside, black spade hands and red day indicator; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement has round iron side weights, in good running condition. 8 in. lower perpetual calendar dial indicating the date and month with perpetual B.B. Lewis calendar mechanism; signed with a paper label in the back of the case. In a rosewood case with chestnut door bezel, refinished, in good condition35 in. high x 17 in. wide x 5 in. deep.

American Double Dial Calendar Pinwheel Regulator. 11 in. Jerome & Co. paper dial with silvered bezel, has black Roman hour numerals, and fancy sub ring with days of the week (this function is not used in this clock), spade hands and sweep seconds hand. The unusual brass weight driven movement has silvered plates, pinwheel escapement, unusual rack & snail strike mechanism, maintaining power and hour strike on a coiled gong. Has 2 heavy brass weights with quality pulleys and cut glass mercurial pendulum with steel rod. (there is no mercury in the jar). The lower calendar mechanism has a Jerome & Co. 11 in. paper dial with silvered bezel, 31 date outer ring with Arabic numbers and fancy inner ring with months of the year; the Jerome & Co. perpetual calendar mechanism is inset into the backboard of the case and the dial sits flush against the back, silver plated identification plaque between the dials reads B.J. Martin Maker 1876. In a beautiful period carved walnut floor standing case with turned finials on the scalloped crest, applied rosettes and raised panels with corbeled sides and raised panels in the base. Clock is in very good condition and original finish. 91.5 in. high x 28.5 in. wide x 12 in. deep.
