Gilbert No. 11 Wall Hanging Regulator with Replaced Movement & Dial. Period 8″ paper dial signed “Wm. L. Gilbert Co., Winsted, Conn” has black Roman hour numerals, inset sub seconds and Maltese hands; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement with Graham deadbeat escapement, retaining power, wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob and silvered brass pulley with silvered brass covered weight. In a walnut No. 11 case with turned spherical mounts on the carved crest, fancy carved frieze and lower bracket with incised highlights and inset walnut center panel. Replaced movement with extra holes in backboard, extra holes behind replaced dial, case is refinished, has unexplained cutouts on the backside of the door, repaired hole at door pull. The movement in this clock is replaced with the one found in the No. 10, smaller dial with winding arbor at “2” has been added. 49.5″ high x 17.5″ wide x 7.5″ deep. Weight: 24 lbs.
